Lea J Holmes
NYS Licensed Massage Therapist
Yoga Instructor RYT
Owner of Creative Life Yoga
I have been a Massage Therapist for about 13 years and built up a very busy practice in Middleburgh, New York. I specialized in CranioSacral Therapy and continue to be amazed at how profound and powerful this gentle therapy can be. I have a heartfelt and deep desire to facilitate healing in others and my work brings me challenges, peace and a fulfillment that is often difficult to describe. I have recently retired from doing Massage Therapy and CranioSacral and find that I miss it very much. I have practiced yoga for over 20 years and recently became certified to teach. I am registered with National Yoga Alliance and am looking forward to working in this new branch of the healing arts.
I have been blessed with many gifts in my life and am a mother to four beautiful children and a few “adopted” children. We lived on 33 acres in an old farmhouse that we were renovating until my husband accepted a job offer in DC and we moved to Maryland. Downsizing has been a challenge! My interests are varied and include a lifelong passion for running, art, gardening, soap making, herbs, baking and cooking, reading, and hiking. My daily runs are what keep me centered and healthy enough to take care of everyone else.
I have coached Track , Cross Country, and Baseball and truly enjoy working with the youth in our community. I have also discovered a love for photography and would love to open a yoga studio which doubles as a photography studio. My vision for my business encompasses all of my interests and will expand as I continue to grow and learn. Like everything in life it is a dynamic and exciting process. My clients are an important part of my life and I am grateful for the lessons they have taught me, the stories they have shared and for the friendships that have formed over the years.
